Hello World! This blog has been a dream of mine for some time, but I honestly did not have the courage to put myself out there until now. I consider myself a rookie when I think about the amazing, connected educators whose blogs and twitter accounts I follow, but they too had to start somewhere. Well, this is me, starting somewhere!
I am a Google for Education Certified Trainer, so many of my posts will focus on GAFE and fun Apps I discover. I am also a strong proponent for teaching compassion, manners, and inclusion in my classroom, so expect these topics to show up as well.
It's scary to put yourself out there, but I truly believe this experience will help me become a better teacher, trainer, and connected colleague. We can't sit on the porch our whole lives so let's run together. Your comments and insights are always welcomed and encouraged. Journeys are so much easier when a friend is walking beside you.
